The house is located in an area rich in history, Liverpool's Georgian Quarter. Rodney Street used to service the wealthiest of Liverpool, including many doctors of the time. Nearby, stands the resilient St Luke’s, affectionately known as “The Bombed Out Church.” Despite being damaged significantly as a result of bombing during World War 2, the church still stands and now hosts frequent events such as theatrical performances, food festivals, and craft markets.
Just up the street from our home, you will find yourself at the midpoint of Liverpool’s two great cathedrals, one Anglican and one Catholic. This road, Hope Street is the only road in the world that has a cathedral at either end. The Anglican Cathedral is one of the largest in Europe and has arguably the best view of the city.
The central shopping district of Liverpool One is a short 10 min walk and once there you’re also adjacent to the famous Albert Dock, home to a number of museums, including the Beatles museum. The world-famous Cavern Club is a few minutes further into town and is perfect for losing an afternoon to those timeless songs where it all began.
Looking for a bit of nightlife or an excellent meal? We are well situated for some of the best in the city. The vibrant and burgeoning food destination Bold Street is right on our doorstep and hosts an unparalleled range, and often independently operated, selection of outstanding food choices.
